POWER
SECTOR - Restructuring of SEBs and Regulatory Reforms of the
Power sector incl. de-novo review of the tariff Structure and
re-grouping of consumers, distribution and licensing regulations,
complaint handling procedures w.r.t. distribution & retail
supply of power, guidelines on load forecasting, resource planning ,
manpower development , minimisation of T & D losses ,
computerization of Boards' functions', Energy management of
power plants, conducting techno-economic feasibility of new projects
etc.
Our
team members in their various earlier capacities, have worked on
projects in line with World Bank requirements on Restructuring and
Reforms for SEBs in Haryana, Andhra Pradesh, Meghalaya , West Bengal
etc. Also, entire Design and Implementation of system improvement
and augmentation work in three zones of Andhra SEB, 210 MW Korba
thermal Power, High Voltage Sub-station works, Teesta Canal falls
Hydroelectric project etc. Besides those, Energy Management have
been carried out in 2 X 210 MW IB Valley Thermal Power .
INFORMATION
TECHNOLOGY - We have got a Core team on IT
which can help Government in taking total policy decisions, System
Study , finding out requirement of hardware, software, networking
and training needs, GIS Applications for setting up GIS Laboratory in the state for Agriculture, Minerals, Land Records,
Topographical Mapping etc., product development and software
solutions for specific application areas like Health sector,
Agriculture, Primary education, Tourism etc, implementing LAN and
WAN connectivities etc.

MINERAL
STUDIES and EVALUATION - Our team with
consulting experience of UNDP and World Bank projects, can suggest
new areas, new methods, commercial extractability, use for industry
as well as export opportunity, techno-economic studies for
industrial potentiality etc., on projects like "Strategic
Evaluation of Mineral Potential of a State with needed Institutional
& Policy Changes for Sustainable Development". This will be a
two-phase study; the first phase will be a desk study on the status
of mineral development and assessment of potential, to be followed
by field studies at identified mineral-rich locales with on-site
evaluation of economic, environmental and social impacts. It will
try to optimize the long-term benefits of State’s mineral
resources through an agenda of actions to enhance the
competitiveness of the mineral industry of the State.
Our
Consultants have carried out so far Development of Mining Plans for
Tin Mines at Orissa, several national and international projects on
Soda Ash, Lignite, Coal mining plans for several State
Governments and for Govt. of Tanzania, Indonesia etc. Also carried
out Development of plan for Waste Disposal for Iron Ore Mine
etc.
URBAN
DEVELOPMENT - Our team consists of very
experienced professionals incl. World Bank consultants on Urban
environment, Urban planning, Urban taxation etc.
Our
team members, in their earlier capacities, were involved with
structural plan of Bangalore and Mangalore, which ultimately became
part of the total Master Plan, development of Captive Industrial
Mini Township at Haldia for Mitsubishi Chemicals Ltd. and presently
working on an ongoing project for a township near Bhubhaneswar.
Recently, we have submitted tender for Master Plan of urban
development for 12 nos. of cities in Jharkhand.

Mukherjee
Amalendra - B.E., FIE, Chartered Engineer - Served
CESC for 37 years, retired as Chief Executive of CESCON and VP
(Corporate Planning), he is a specialist in formulation and
implementation of Tariff Structure, setting up of IPPs etc. As
a consultant, involved with Restructuring, Tariff formulation, Power
sector reforms for various SEBs like Meghalaya, Haryana (in line
with World Bank requirements), Andhra Pradesh etc. Ex-chairman of
Institution of Engineers (Eastern Region) for 1998-2000 and past
member of Committee on Economic affairs, ASSOCHEM.
Ganguly
R.R. - B.E., FIE, Chartered Engineer - A renowned
expert in the field Reform / Regulatory programmes of Power Sector ,
having sound knowledge of Tariff Formulation, Resource
Planning, Distribution and Licensing regulations, load
forecasting etc. Till recently , a Member (Technical) of West
Bengal Electricity Regulatory Commission, used to interact with
experts from World Bank, DFID-UK to carry out reforms and regulatory
issues. Earlier, served DVC for 34 years, retired as Chief
Engineer (Commercial) and Dirctor (HRD) from DVC , having exposure
to Construction, O & M, H.T. Substations, Transmission and
Distribution, Commercial , HRD etc.
Haque
Sk. Md.H.- B.E. (Elec.) - A specialist in modern
Electrical Engineering Design upto 400kv System with his total
experience of 18 years in the field of Projects, Automation
Engineering, Field Engineering, Testing and Commissioning. Was
involved in Teesta Canal Falls Hydroelectric project for Andrew
Yule, design, supervision , testing & commissioning for
APSEB plants at two districts, commissioning of electrical system at
Science City, Calcutta etc.
Ray
Aniruddha - B.E., MBA - Experienced in Project
Management, Energy Management Study for the last
18 years, carried out Energy Management at 2X210
MW IB Valley Thermal Power at Orissa.

Ajoy Kumar - B.Tech (ISM), BME (UK), Ph.D (Univ. of Petrosani)
- A renowned expert in the area of minerals and mining with about 40
years experience. He has served as Consultant to UN-ESCAP, ILO and
World Bank on many projects on Mineral study as regards
extractability, Industrial usage, techno-economic feasibility,
export possibility, Environmental angle etc. etc. in India as well
as abroad. Earlier,served as faculty at Universities of New Castle
and Ostrava. He was the Director-Professor of Indian School of Mines
and AICTE Emeritus Fellow.
Past
all-India President of Institution of Engineers ( 98-99 ) and
President , Federation of Engineering institutions of South and
Central Asia (1998-2000)
He
operates with a strong team comprising of Mr. A. N. Bose, a retired
Controller General of Indian Bureau of Mines, Mr.Ashok Mondal,
an Executive Director of Hindustan Copper, Mr.G.S.Khuntia , a
Former Director–Raw Materials of SAIL , and with overseas
consultants , as per requirement.

Partha Ranjan - B.Arch., M.Urban Design - A Fulbright-Hayes
Scholar of 1991, and with 22 years experience, he is a well-known
Urban Designer and Architect for Commercial Complexes, Hospitals,
Hotels & Resorts, Housing Projects, Schools and Restoration
works. He was associated with a Govt. of Karnataka project for
Structural plan of Bangalore and Mangalore, recommendations of which
was subsequently incorporated in the Master Plan. Closely associated
with Gujrat Ambuja Group for many of their recent projects in
Bengal.
He
coordinates with other professionals incl. past consultants of World
Bank , UNICEF for carrying out projects for Master Plan & Urban
Development, Urban Environment & Disaster Mgmt., Urban
Sustainability, Urban Governance etc.
Dutta
D. - B.E.(Civil), M.E.(Proj.Engg.), FIV, Chartered Engineer
- With more than 20 years in the field, an authority in Civil and
Structural Design. Has carried out various projects like Industrial
Township , Market Complex, etc Empanelled Structural Engineer
and Licensed Building Surveyor (Class-I) for CMC and other civic
bodies.
